Bond

Bond Search & Selection were named ‘Recruitment Team of the Year 2012’ at the recent Irish News Workplace & Employment Awards.

Over 450 guests attended the awards ceremony held at Titanic Belfast which featured The Apprentice’s Nick Hewer as guest speaker.

Bond is a multi award winning recruitment consultancy based in Belfast. Established in 2003, Bond is the only Northern Irish recruitment company to win a UK Recruiter Award for Excellence (Best New Recruitment Company in the UK) and specialise in accountancy, financial services, insurance, IT and general managerial recruitment. This latest award follows a year of expansion which has also seen Bond begin to recruit in the wider UK market.

Bernard Rooney, a director of Bond commented, “Despite the challenging economic conditions we all face the last 12 months have been very positive, profitability is up, we have moved into new offices and are actively expanding our team. We were delighted to win the Recruitment Team of the Year award which is a testament to the hard work our team has put in this year.”

The judges commented that “Our winners achieved outstanding commercial success in turbulent times without compromising their ethics or professional standards and were the judges’ unanimous choice in this category.”

The key measure of Bond’s success is in a marked increase in turnover and profitability over the last two years, and in monetary terms net profit for the business is 200 per cent greater this year than in
2010.
