Michael Connor, Irish News deputy advertising manager, Peter McMonagle, NIJobs.com general manager, and John Manley, Irish News business reporter announce a new collaboration.
The partnership will see positions from the Irish News and NIJobs.com cross-listed on both platforms, with positions from NIJobs.com listed in the paper's 'Jobs on Thursday' section, and a new purpose-built Irish News section added to NIJobs' site at www.nijobs.com/irishnews .
Peter McMonagle, general manager of NIJobs.com, said: "Partnering with the Irish News was an easy choice – with one of the largest-selling print publications and the number one choice for online jobseekers in Northern Ireland working together, we're confident that our new offering will give local jobseekers the best choice, no matter where they're searching.
"NIJobs.com is committed to helping people right across Northern Ireland move on and up into the career that they want – whether they're just starting out, or seeking to switch position – and we're confident that this deal enhances our ability to do that."
Michael Connor, Irish News deputy advertising manager, added: "The Irish News is delighted to partner with NIjobs.com to strengthen our Jobs on Thursday employment platform offering job seekers and advertisers an enhanced opportunity. Job seekers will now have an opportunity to access a larger range of jobs and advertisers will now have access to a significantly larger pool of job seekers. I have no doubt that this partnership will prove to be a successful venture."
NIJobs.com currently features over 3000 jobs, across 28 different industries, on its site for local jobseekers to select from.
