Harlem Cafe Simon Noel Brady

Faye Rogers of Harlem Cafe, Belfast, today presented a cheque for £3,500 to Noel Brady and Susan Smith from Simon Community NI.

The money donated by diners at Harlem as part of Simon’s annual Streetsmart campaign will provide much needed support services to those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Speaking as she received the cheque, Susan Smith of Simon Community NI said “this  donation will make a real difference to people in need. The generosity of Faye and all those who donated at Harlem Cafe will, for example, enable Simon to provide support or accommodation to almost 2000 people via our freephone helpline, or give 350 families emergency food packages. A big thanks to all involved.”
