The Hudson

Northern Ireland's hospitality industry will be downing tools on Monday 24th June for a charity fundraiser organised by leading trade publication Hospitality Review NI in aid of Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke.

The Hudson Bar on Belfast's Gresham Street is set to welcome over one hundred chefs, waiters and bar tenders from across the province for a charitable barbeque supported by the industry's suppliers.

Nicola Daly, manager of Hospitality Review NI said, "The hospitality industry has had a turbulent few months following on from December's flag protests. We've kept our focus on our customers and now it's time to let the hair down a bit, get together with our colleagues and peers and look forward to the second half of 2013".

The barbeque is supported by Bacardi Brown-Forman, Molson Coors, Crossgar Pallas and Hendersons among others who will be providing their products to raise money for NICHS, a medical charity working for the prevention and alleviation of chest, heart and stroke illnesses in Northern Ireland. These illnesses account for more than 6,000 deaths every year.

Europa Hotel manager and star of BBC Lobby Lives James McGinn will be host for the evening while Paschal O'Hare will take up residence and supply the music.

Admission to the event is strictly ticket only and are available from Nicola Daly on 028 9078 3234 or nicoladaly@greerpublications.com, priced at £15.
