Novosco, which is headquartered in the Northern Ireland Science Park, has won the deals with a global financial services provider, an English retail chain with over 360 outlets, and a leading pan-European recruitment company.
Novosco provides cloud computing and IT infrastructure services, including infrastructure optimisation, disaster recovery, managed services and connectivity services, to a wide range of organisations. It is a partner of Cisco, EMC and VMware.
While it didn't name the clients, the company said the contracts include an 18-month managed service contract with a global insurance business to provide storage and back-up IT infrastructure and services at locations in the Republic of Ireland and England.
In the deal with an English retail chain, Novosco designed and implemented a new datacentre network for the entire business.
The third win is a three-year contract to provide a managed IT service to a recruitment business with more than 500 employees.
Novosco Managing Director Patrick McAliskey (above) said: "We moved to new offices in Dublin and opened new offices in Birmingham last year to complement our Belfast headquarters and this has enabled us to significantly grow our business in the rest of the UK and Ireland."
"While Northern Ireland remains Novosco's key market, we see significant opportunities for growth in GB and RoI. Undertaking large contracts in these markets has positive benefits for our Belfast operation, creating further work in our IT managed service centre and developing additional experience and expertise in to the team, which benefits our local customer-base," he adds.
The new contracts round off a year in which Novosco has been building its GB customer base, with over 12 deals successfully delivered across a number of sectors including the NHS, the police and banking.
Novosco, which marks 20 years in business next year, has featured in the Deloitte Fast 50 listing of the fastest growing technology firms on the island every year for the last 14.
Founded in 2007 with the merger of two local IT firms, Novosco now employs 88 people, with offices in Dublin and Birmingham, in addition to its Belfast base.
