20 new jobs for Rainbow

Rainbow's Director of Sales and Marketing Stuart Carson and Head of Outbound Sales Carol Collins announce the expansion plans.

Belfast based Rainbow Communications is to create 20 jobs linked to the announcement this week that the mobile phone company EE is to open a customer contact centre in the city.

As the only direct business partner of EE in Northern Ireland, Rainbow Communications said it plans to recruit 20 sales advisers bringing the total number employed by the business telecoms provider to over 100.

It’s the latest expansion for the business telecoms firm, which has more than 5,500 customers across the UK and Ireland and which last year opened an IT solutions division.

Stuart Carson, Director of Sales and Marketing at Rainbow Communications, said: “We have witnessed significant growth in the past year, not least in our mobile offering due to our partnership with EE which is the only provider of 4G services in Northern Ireland.

“EE’s commitment to Northern Ireland is clear following its announcement to create 250 jobs in Belfast earlier this week and its continued expansion of the 4G network in Northern Ireland, which is already delivering significant value and benefits to businesses here.

“The creation of these 20 new jobs is a significant investment for Rainbow and follows the company’s recent expansion into Scotland. We are committed to providing expertise and value wrapped in a customer service second to none.”
