New app will give tips to new businesses
Ulster Bank has unveiled an innovative package of products, information and support for business start-ups. A new Start-Up Centre App is a one stop shop for information, insights and guidance to support new businesses. The app is available on SmallBusinessCan.com, a website for business people, run by business people and powered by Ulster Bank.
The site also features an online navigator of all the local enterprise start-up supports across Ireland, lists sources of invaluable information and provides immediate guidance from industry experts, and is available to all Ulster Bank business customers.
Ulster Bank's support for new business also includes transaction fee-free banking for the first two years from account opening; access to 'Anytime', a fee free subscription service, which allows you to manage both business and personal accounts together on one platform; and a subscription-free 'Business Card' for the first year.
Commenting on the initiative, Ian Jordan, Head of Business Direct at Ulster Bank said:
"We are determined to help new businesses by offering them the best support possible. This support is easily available on the unique Start-Up Centre app, through mobile and phone banking, online and in our branch network across Ireland."
Powered by Ulster Bank, smallbusinesscan.com gives our customers access to a network of almost 20,000 small business owners and industry experts as well as useful resources such as a free business planning tool and a discounted web shop.
Ian Jordan said: "Our innovative and cost effective products and services help start-ups to match their business ambitions. At Ulster Bank we are committed to building new businesses and we have made £1 billion available to lend in 2014."
