Tourism Minister Arlene Foster and Social Development Minister Nelson McCausland are joined by Dr Denis Rooney CBE, Chairman of the SS Nomadic Charitable Trust, to view the progress of reconstruction work currently being carried out on SS Nomadic, the passenger tender for the Titanic and last remaining White Star vessel. Steelwork and work on the superstructure has been completed and outfitting is now taking place on the vessel by Enniskillen-based Tracey Brothers, and which is being funded by the Nomadic Charitable Trust through the Department of Social Development, the Peace III programme, administered by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) and also from the Northern Ireland Tourist Board, through the Tourism Development Scheme.
