Leading financial technology business NYSE Euronext has announced that it is creating 20 graduate jobs at its IT Centre of Excellence in Belfast.

The company, which operates the New York Stock Exchange, said graduates will form part of a team working across the US, Europe and Asia to provide integrated trading solutions for the global capital markets community.

The announcement came on the same day that fellow US-owned technology company Allstate NI confirmed that it is recruiting for 60 positions in the Northwest as part of its ongoing growth plans.

Seeking to recruit dynamic and motivated team players, NYSE Euronext brought a flavour of the USA to students across Northern Ireland this week with its Thanksgiving Graduate Roadshow.

The NYSE Euronext team visited both Queen's University and University of Ulster to advise students about career opportunities in its growing hub in Belfast which is helping to power the trading operations for some of the world's best financial institutions and exchanges.
