The front man of the renowned heavy metal band is sure to 'rock' the event at the Europa Hotel in Belfast on 7 February 2013.
Bruce Dickinson is a relative newcomer to the speaker circuit but has sold more than 85 million records worldwide.
Chairman on IoD NI, Mervyn McCall, said:
"We are thrilled to have secured such a rock heavyweight as the guest speaker at our Annual Dinner.
"The Dinner is the highlight of the Institute's year and I'm sure everyone who attends will be greatly anticipating hearing from Bruce and how he combines his musical and business careers.
"No doubt he will reveal the parallels between the world of the rock star and the world of the business director."
Mr Dickinson is a qualified commercial pilot and heads Cardiff Aviation Ltd which specialises in heavy maintenance of Airbus and Boeing commercial aircraft.
The Annual Dinner, sponsored by Bank of Ireland and Arthur Cox Solicitors, will include the presentation of the IoD Lunn's Award of Excellence.
The winner, chosen from the seven recent recipients of the IoD NI Director of the Year Awards, will receive a limited edition Rolex Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona wristwatch worth £7,950 and the perpetual trophy presented by Lunn's Jewellers.
The prize draw will raise funds for the Institute of Directors Northern Ireland Charity of the Year, The Simon Community.
