Online Hen or Stag Company Awarded Tourism Marketing Gold

Online Start-up has good reason to be celebrating having scooped one of Ireland's most prestigious Tourism Marketing Excellence Awards. Notably beating off the £1.5 million 'Backin Belfast' Campaign.

The online party brand was proudly announced overall winner of 'Best Marketing and Sales' in the category of 'Destination Tourism and Hospitality Industry' at the recent 'Chartered Institute of Marketing All-Ireland Marketing Excellence Awards'. (November 2013)

Commenting on the news County Fermanagh man, Jonathan Gallagher (29) Co-Founder of stated "We at are absolutely thrilled to be in business only 8 months and now hold claim to having won Ireland's most credible tourism marketing award."

Winning was certainly no mean feat for the new online start-up which is aimed at the highly lucrative hen and stag market.

Forget "L" plates and "Bunny Ears" the Fermanagh based company is gaining new ground as it taps into the £5 billion pound UK hen and stag market whilst helping to take the sting out of organising hen and stag parties in Ireland.

Stiff competition came from some of Ireland's most successful tourism marketing campaigns including the £1.5 million Backin' Belfast campaign by Visit Belfast to encourage people back into Belfast amid Union flag protests along with other finalists Ulster Farmers Union with their 'Plate to Gate Campaign'.

Judges were particularly impressed with the execution of the brand launch despite their shoe-string budget. Specific reference was given to the novel website features including a free hen and stag party planning facility which connects with Facebook. In total there was 8 sector specific award categories presented at the glitzy award ceremony in Belfast's Ramada Hotel by BBC's Claire McCollum.

Judges declared the outright winner of the category 'Destination Tourism and Hospitality Industry' with no runner-up award presented unlike many of the other categories.
