Up to six flights from Belfast and up to eight flights from Dublin have been operating into the airport's Terminal 1 since the airline started flying the routes in June 2012.
The carrier said the move is expected to cut minimum connection times to onward British Airways flights from Terminal 5 by 30 minutes, to one hour.
By the end of 2013 more than 144 million customers had used the terminal – which is exclusively used by British Airways – since it opened in March 2008.
Willie Walsh, chief executive of International Airlines Group, the parent company of British Airways, told guests at the Dublin Chamber of Commerce dinner last night that the move will ensure customers benefit from quicker and smoother connections to over 100 cities worldwide.
Mr Walsh said: "I am delighted that British Airways passengers from Northern Ireland will soon benefit from this relocation to our dedicated hub at Terminal 5.
"Delivering a top class and unparalleled travelling experience for our customers is of paramount importance. Whether making a journey for business or leisure, passengers will now easily be able to connect to important long-haul and European destinations without having to transfer between terminals.
"In addition to enjoying the excellent facilities at our award winning terminal, this move reduces flight transfer time to just 60 minutes, and means that customers have a quicker journey through our dedicated terminal at Heathrow."
Brian Ambrose, chief executive of George Best Belfast City Airport, said: "The transfer of all British Airways services from Belfast City to Heathrow's Terminal 5 will provide passengers from Northern Ireland with improved access to the airline's extensive global network at Heathrow's newest terminal.
"Belfast City Airport is currently the only airport in Northern Ireland to operate a London Heathrow service and the route is consistently one of the most popular amongst passengers.
"We continuously invest in facilities and services to enhance the experience through our own airport, but now all British Airways passengers in Northern Ireland will also be able to experience the world renowned amenities of Terminal 5."
