A new warehouse distribution facility could be built at the site of a former manufacturing hub at Belfast’s Titanic Quarter, it can be revealed.
Plans are under way to knock down the existing warehouse buildings at the King’s Works at Channel Commercial Park. The site was once home to Howden UK, which closed its doors in 2015.
The new plans include knocking down the existing buildings and construction of a new warehouse distribution facility, alongside offices, yards and car parking.
The King’s Works premises is a 102,000 sq ft site, and was put back on the market in 2016 with possible uses including distribution, logistics, warehousing and manufacturing, or film and television production.
The site is part of Channel Commercial Park, which is located on the Queen’s Road.
The fresh plans have been submitted by Turley on behalf of Titanic Quarter Ltd.
